Ryan Hammontree, Professional Dog Trainer
Ryan Hammontree brings over 20 years of professional dog-training experience
to Kansas City K9 Academy. His background includes work in law enforcement and competitive
dog sports at the national level, and he has completed advanced training through the
NePoPo® system.
Ryan’s approach centers on structured training that produces happy, confident, well-mannered
dogs their owners can take anywhere. He emphasizes consistency, fairness, and real-world
application, with a focus on long-term reliability and trust between dog and handler.
Specialties: foundational obedience, handler and dog communication,
complex behavior modification, and working with dogs of all breeds and sizes.
